Dallas' Museums, food, art, open mics and new friends!

Hello friends and farewell Texas!
So this is what a real life roadrunner looks like! (NOTICE: not "real live" because it is taxidermy at the Perot museum). The Perot Museum is gorgeous and one of the coolest and most informative and fun museums I've been to maybe ever, I've enclosed a lot of photos and cannot convey how wonderful that place is! We went to eat at a place called The Spaghetti Warehouse and had great chicken parmasean! Today marks our last morning in Dallas and Texas overall as we embark on our lengthy 8 hour drive to Memphis at 11:30! Texas overall has been a fantastic experience and our longest stay in a state where we played every single day and met alot of people! Yesterday we went food shopping at Aldi with Nigel and went to a cool thrift store where Alexa bought some toy instruments! I enjoyed a root beer called Triple X and read alot since it was rainy and cold out (I know, in TX.. Who knew?!) and made significant progress on a new song! I encourage you to buy Sadistik's new CD Flowers For My Father... It's phenomenal. We went to an amazing open mic at Crown and Harp and met many good people, musicians (Steve Perry being my favorite!), comedians, all willing to support us, book us in the
future and one couple even drove us home!

DJ BMO & AllOne debut collaboration with "Anima Mundi" Remix!

DJ BMO aka Kyle Banks, who has been my DJ pretty officially since January 2016, just released his second EP "Phantasy" !   It is a MUST LISTEN! Especially for fans of EDM, Hip-Hop, electronica, dubstep, party music or any good hip hop.  I feel "Phantasy" is an improvement from his already impressive   "Bento Box" EP from last year.  Kyle is one of the most hard working and driven artists I know.  He is always pushing his craft, performing more nights a week than not and often creating new material for these sets constantly.  He rarely plays the same set twice and he is always doing something new and interesting.  Somehow in all the times we've performed together we have yet to collaborate...until now that is!  On "Phantasy" Kyle remixed Gramatik's "Anima Mundi" for a closing song and did me the honor of asking me to rap on it.  He entrusted me with complete creative freedom. Yesterday I was reading the transcript of Alan Moore's brilliant performance piece "Snakes & Ladders" (incredibly recommended, though esoteric reading). His words are accompanied in the offering by the multimedia visual artist Eddie Campbell. Afterwards, I was watching an excerpt of an interview with the great Alan Moore where he shares some important insight into the power that artists once had, specifically in the bardic and satire traditions.
