"Emotional Baggage Bard Tour" 2/8-2/12/17  Into the Heart of the Storm and Out of the Tour in One Piece (Syracuse,  Saratoga Springs and Rochester NY) Greetings my fellow adventurers!  When we last met I'd passed out at my grandmother's house on February 8th after a very successful performance experience in New York City's "Parkside Lounge". I woke up at my Grandmother's house to an unrealistically beautiful day with summer weather in the 60s.  We had a huge breakfast together, caught one another up on our personal goings on and what was happening that we knew of throughout the branches of family happenings.  After breakfast, I worked out in my late Grandfather's basement gym. Reflecting on a friend, a patriarch, a hero My Poppy, as all his grandchildren knew him, Tony "Sonny" Pandolfo, is one of the staples of what is considered the golden age of bodybuilding.  He was a disciplined, walking legend of a man whose physique ...

AllOne NovEmbark Tour 2016: 11/29-12/1 Family Rescue During A Traveler's Crisis (Massachusetts to NYC to Albany) Welcome back AllOne family, I am still catching up with my NovEmbark travelogues and now am jumping between writing these tour stories (stouries?) and editing episode two of my new weekly improv rap series "Spontaneous Sundays with AllOne" which you can check out at my Youtube Page .   Episode 1 features Hi-Q of Kill The Inventors and this second episode I'm editing features Nox . For now, let us return to the road, when last we were on my lone NovEmbark journey, I was leaving the Drent manor of the Lefebvre family on a precipitous night to visit my family in Saugus, MA. 11/29-11/30 Calm conversation in the small grey town of Saugus, MA The night of Tuesday the 11/29th after saying goodbye and thanks to Drent and Libby, post-video-shoot, I drove to Saugus. It took me about an hour and a half through the rain and traffic to get there.  I listened to...

6/12 Feeling at Home in Albany, Day 2

Image
Hello all, from All, from Albany!  I had the pleasure of meeting a wealth of new people and exploring the charming, if overcast, city of Albany which I recommend you do someday as well!  Found a wonderful venue that made me feel at home!  Lets see where life takes us... A Literary morning ritual, and new song!      I woke up and I read for a while before anyone else was awake. Writing and reading, especially in the morning, is hugely valuable to me. The ideas are fresh in my head if I'm writing and while my brain may be slow to function if I've gotten little sleep, it's also recently gathered some typically interesting things in a dream state.  I have a pretty strict ritual of reading in the morning, it wakes me up and gets my brain churning and chewing on ideas!  Danielle and her roommate Jeany woke up at some point and Danielle offered me her green tea generously. Feeling inspired, I sat by the window to look out on t...

6/11 Back in NY, Albany Day One

Image
Glad to have you back diligent reader! When last we spoke, it was Wednesday the 11 th. I'd arrived in an overcast Albany, a place I'd never been, with a poetry reading on the horizon and no solid plans of where I'd be staying the night. Luckily, both of those things panned out in my favor! Lets experience the Capital city shall we? Welcome to Albany (the helpfulness of strangers)   I was still nervous when I'd arrived at the Albany bus station at 5pm because no attempt to stay with people in town panned out either through other friends or messages I'd sent on  Couchsurfing.org . I sent out one last mass text to some friends who I knew lived in upstate NY, asking if they had any friends in Albany, and explaining my predicament. My good friend Jill Drwal was texting me and had given me a call saying that her friend Danielle lived in Albany and had a potential place for me to stay but she'd have to wait until around 7 O'clock or so I know if t...
