"Emotional Baggage Bard Tour" 2/8-2/12/17  Into the Heart of the Storm and Out of the Tour in One Piece (Syracuse,  Saratoga Springs and Rochester NY) Greetings my fellow adventurers!  When we last met I'd passed out at my grandmother's house on February 8th after a very successful performance experience in New York City's "Parkside Lounge". I woke up at my Grandmother's house to an unrealistically beautiful day with summer weather in the 60s.  We had a huge breakfast together, caught one another up on our personal goings on and what was happening that we knew of throughout the branches of family happenings.  After breakfast, I worked out in my late Grandfather's basement gym. Reflecting on a friend, a patriarch, a hero My Poppy, as all his grandchildren knew him, Tony "Sonny" Pandolfo, is one of the staples of what is considered the golden age of bodybuilding.  He was a disciplined, walking legend of a man whose physique ...

AllOne NovEmbark Tour 2016: 12/2-12/4 Syracuse and Rochester, NY Conclude A Journey My Dearest AllWonderers (AllWanderers), As I write this I am listening to Bad Religion's "The Dissent Of Man" and getting in this last rush of writing before I go to host an open mic night at the incredible House Of Brews in Port Jefferson (the revived and reinvented husk of what used to be Lulu's!)  If you're on Long Island and looking for places to perform, you'll want to visit the VOX POPULI open mic series , run by Mike Perlmutter, genius bassist and former Velvet Lounge open mic host of 3+ years.  The sound system and stage and the overall quality of the venue is unmatched in terms of open mics, plus Port Jeff is a dazzling charming little town to explore before and after!  My friend NOX is the feature and he and I got together to film a cypher which contributed a segment to Episode two of my new series Spontaneous Sundays with AllOne .   Click here to watch Episod...

Hey AllOne Family! As of tonight I'm GOING BACK ON THE ROAD!! I've decided to name this one after a portmanteau, the NOVEMBARK TOUR ! I've posted the dates and events below from 11/17-12/4 (yes I know..some of this is the DECEMBARK TOUR technically, call it what you like, just come on down to an event!).  I've decided to elaborate on a few little bits of information just in the event that it may help out anyone looking to do the same... How did I Decide the Course? The seed of the tour, aside from my intrinsic need for change and desire to get out on the road and meet people (see "Travel Baggage (Carry On)" ) was a message from my friend Miggs Son Daddy   who happened to be coming up to NY and was looking for a show (we'll be performing together at The Velvet Lounge Open Mic Tuesday the 22nd as features!) and it got me thinking about where else I could travel and so I started booking feverishly! For the first time, I've opted to drive and so wit...

6/13 & 6/14 Two days with friends in Syracuse

Image
Goodbye Albany, Hello Syracuse!       Friday morning started with me reading in Danielle's house and her waking up a bit hungover from her birthday merriment. That being said, I wished her a good morning and a happy birthday and she asked if I'd like to accompany her to the humble little garden level Hamilton Street Cafe that Jeany works at but she could never attend because she's always working the relevant hours. I of course, conceded and treated her to a birthday breakfast in an attempt to thank her for her hospitality. She dropped me at the bus stop and we hugged goodbye, glad to have met new friends. I had about an hour and while waiting for the bus to Syracuse, I finished reading the Chicken Soup For The Soul: Inspiration For Writers book my mom bought me. Overall, some of it felt a bit redundant but most of it was inhabited by strong and sincere anecdotes that jostled me into some thought. It was nice that each essay was usually only 4 pages maximum so...
