Getting sick (but having fun) in Austin

Hello From Austin!
After saying goodbye to our new friend Nick in Houston who showed us a fantstic time and was the best host, we left Houston and headed to Austin at 8! With little sleep after a late though wonderful night at East Side Social Center full of interestin music and wonerful people, I was exhausted on the ride but could not sleep! We got in this afternoon and got picked up by Alexa's wonderful relative Kent, a loving and open minded generous guy who took us to eat at a vegan food trailer, evidently a popular way to eat around here! The weather was gorgeous but i hadn't been feeling well all morning, feverish and sore throat. Probably (typically) i am overworked and underslept! We returned to their gorgeous house and met Kent's wife Paula, they are a generous couple who are well traveled and cultured! One of my best friends Eric came in from being stationed at Fort Hood and we went out for
food at Opal Divines (soup, OJ and emergen-c for me) and are playing at the Wardenclyffe Gallery now! A charming independent gallery currently displaying the jarringly abstract and colorful work of Jenna Foster (www.jennalynnfoster.com)!
Quite a nice and fun time, a low key event where a did a lot of a Capella Rapologies material!
Stay healthy!
